Each color is inspired by the colours of Nagasaki Prefecture, which faces the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea, Sand dunes and the greenery of nature.
The gradient surface of the saucer (the gradation part) has a difference in height between the left and right sides, which evokes a mountain slope or terraced rice paddies built in a stepped pattern on a hill.
The ceramic ball is removable from the saucer, allowing unburned portions to be easily removed from under the hole after burning.
