In the 1970s, Australia was rich with furniture producers crafting pieces that rivalled europe. Many became household names such as Parker, Chiswell and Fler but one little known Sydney based manufacturer was experimenting with form and materials beyond the traditional teak scandinavian style. Pacific furniture crafted beautiful pieces using timber and fibreglass internal structures that allowed more interesting curved forms.
