VANITY SET DESIGNED BY MAKIO HASUIKE FOR GEDY ITALY - 1970s
Sold as a set of two, this beautiful and highly collectible vanity set was designed by Tokyo born Makio Hasuike whom founded the first industrial design studio in Italy. Produced by Italian plastics firm Gedy this special space age design was sold through Avon in very limited quantities.
In excellent vintage condition, there are very little imperfections on the exterior of the pieces with some light patina inside from use. The pieces still maintain the Makio Hasuike initials branding and red pinstripe. A perfect addition to any space age lovers collection or as an ideal set for a desktop.
