The popular ‘fat lava’ style ceramics of Scheurich, produced in West Germany in the 1950s and 1970s have become highly collectible for their beautiful colours and exquisite production. This particular example offers a rare glaze featuring aqua green, deep blue, pink and deep purple - a departure from the traditional colours of the producer.

In excellent vintage condition, this piece demonstrates only very little patina and shows not damage to the glaze whatsoever.
