For five weeks, Level 2 of Rainbow Studios was transformed into Jakob’s living and creative space, marking the beginning of their first International Artist Residency Programme. During that time, Jakob was working on his debut solo exhibition, What Does Tarzan Never Say?
Jakob’s unique artistic vision blends playfulness, nostalgia, and emotional depth. His work is characterized by vibrant energy and whimsical charm, often featuring his signature ‘R-bot’ characters—futuristic yet childlike figures that reflect Jakob’s own childhood, evoking a sense of innocence and wonder. These joyful creations invite viewers into a world of lightheartedness, while also offering deeper, more conceptual layers of meaning.
