A lovely vintage coffee table designed by Alvar Aalto for Artek Finland from the 1980s. In birch ply with black linoleum top this is a great example of Aaltos minimal functional design paired with the beautiful craftsmanship of Artek.
This piece displays lovely patina enjoyed by Artek collectors, the birch ply finish has warmed with age and the linoleum has developed lovely character whilst still presenting well.
