Designed by the acclaimed London-based studio PearsonLloyd for Walter Knoll, the Flow Lounge Chair embodies the studio’s signature approach to relaxed contemporary living — combining sculptural form, ergonomic comfort and understated sophistication.
This example is upholstered in a soft pale green macro-suede, paired with an elegant brushed steel sled base that gives the chair a light architectural presence. The flowing single-shell silhouette wraps gently around the sitter, creating a relaxed lounge experience while maintaining crisp modern lines.
PearsonLloyd are internationally recognised for their human-centred approach to furniture and interior design, with works held in permanent museum collections including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Their collaboration with Walter Knoll reflects a distinctly European sensibility: refined, minimal and exceptionally well resolved.
The muted green upholstery brings warmth and softness to the form, making the chair equally suited to residential interiors, gallery settings or contemporary commercial spaces.
In very good vintage condition, the chairs display some patina across the upholstery including light scuffing and some very minor marks. Professionally cleaned they present beautifully.
