A stunning oversized three-seater ‘Wave’ sofa designed by Giovanni Offredi and produced by Saporiti Italy in the original perforated dark tan Italian leather.
Recognised as one of the finest productions from Italy in the 1970s, the Wave series features injection moulded foam over steel, soft seat pads and a powder-coated steel frame base. Sculptural, oversized and sumptuously comfortable, the seat ‘floats’ over the frame providing an early post-modern example of Italian design.
In original vintage condition, the sofa presents lovely patina across the leather that brings character and demonstrates the quality of such fine production that Saporiti was renowned for. We recommend inspection of all our vintage pieces to assess condition.
