Giancarlo Piretti, born in 1940 in Bologna, Italy, is a distinguished interior and industrial designer known for his innovative contributions to furniture design. One of Piretti's most notable works is the Plia Chair, designed in 1967. This folding and stacking chair is celebrated for its practical yet stylish design, making it a popular choice in various settings.
